We are looking for a driven Treasury Analyst who will be responsible for managing all bank relationships, including bank account opening/closing, cash monitoring, investment, and risk compliance. The Treasury Analyst is responsible for payment processing functions, project management, and audit support. Other responsibilities include performing multiple duties relating to treasury and payments functions of the organization.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

This position works with the Treasury team at BOLD who is responsible for overseeing the cash management process and partnering with the Finance and Technology teams to provide payment processing capabilities and optimization opportunities for the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Banking:
    • Support the management of relationships with global financial institutions
    • Review weekly cash positions
    • Oversee and approve the release of domestic and international payments
    • Analyze monthly bank service fees for accuracy and address quality issues
  • Payment Processing:
    • Manage relationships with payment service providers in different GEOs
    • Assist in conversations with PSPs regarding discrepancies, currency management, and settlement cycles
    • Serve as Project Lead for the onboarding and release of merchant account numbers, including following project development to ensure it is complete by project’s deadline
  • Compliance:
    • Enforce treasury operational policies as well as to ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures
    • Secure and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information handled with internal and external sources
    • Comply with local, state, and federal rules and bank regulations including but not limited to KYC, OFAC, BSA, AML, etc.
    • Maintain all bank and processing relationships in good standing by responding to compliance requests in a timely manner
  • Risk Management:
    • Collaborate with cash flow forecasts for different currencies
    • Support the execution of foreign exchange transactions and trade confirmations
    • Analyze monthly FX gain/loss
  • Other:
    • Assist in the preparation and provision of work papers to external accountants
    • Participation in the annual corporate insurance program renewal

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in any or a combination of the following functions: banking, finance, accounting, and payment processing
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (oral and written)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to prepare and submit complex analyses
  • High attention to detail

WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE

  • CPA, CTP, or any other professional certification that is relevant to the role
  • Prior experience in payment processing
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Experience using a Treasury Management System (i.e., TMS)
  • High attention to detail
