Key milestones: A journey through our history

2003

Founders Doug Jackson and Jamie Freundlich meet while working at Monster.

2005

Doug and Jamie establish LiveCareer and launch a scientifically valid career test, helping people reveal their ideal profession.

2010

LiveCareer releases its first resume builder, quickly becoming the job seeker’s gold standard. The product wins multiple awards.

2013

LiveCareer launches its first international portals in the UK, France, Spain, and Italy.

2015

LiveCareer transforms into BOLD, broadening its focus beyond career documents. BOLD adopts a new vision: “We transform work lives” and establish its corporate headquarters in Puerto Rico.

2019

BOLD acquires Zety (Interview.me) and establishes an office in Warsaw, Poland.

2020

Employees in the United States transition to a fully remote work environment.

2023

BOLD hires its 1,000th employee and acquires FlexJobs, the largest job search site for remote work.

2024

BOLD acquires ResumeBuilder.com and Sonara.ai, the first-ever AI-powered job search platform.
