We are looking for an SEO Researcher to join the Off-site SEO Team at BOLD. Our research team is responsible for identifying high-value link-building opportunities to support our outreach team. This role involves analyzing potential websites, influencers, and platforms for collaboration to boost Bold's online authority and search engine performance. Additionally, the SEO Researcher will evaluate backlink profiles, track industry trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize outreach efforts.
Key responsibilities include building a comprehensive database of link-building prospects, and conducting competitive analysis to uncover opportunities. This role will also prepare reports summarizing research findings and collaborate closely with the outreach team to ensure alignment with broader SEO objectives and performance goals.
Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Keyword Research based on our existing and new content, to find relevant backlink opportunities for a given topic.
- Use Pitchbox, Ahrefs, and Google SERPS to identify target websites for our Outreach Team to contact for link placements, in multiple languages.
- Checking and vetting all link opportunities for relevancy and quality.
- Preparing contact lists in our CRM, ready for use by our Outreach Team.
- Maintaining contact databases for each brand and market you are assigned to.
- Keep up-to-date with SEO industry trends and tactics.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Around 1 year of previous experience in an SEO role.
- Good knowledge of Ahrefs.
- Detail-oriented and logical thinking.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (at least B2).
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience in Off-site SEO/Linkbuilding.
- Experience in Digital PR.
- Knowledge of Pitchbox or similar (Respona, Buzzstream).
- Knowledge of an additional language (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish or German).
About This Team
The Off-SEO Team is made up of Outreach Specialists, Researchers, Content Writers, and Analysts. We are responsible for the Off-site SEO for 18 portals in 7 different languages.
How do we work?
- We have weekly team meetings.
- We track our progress using OKRTs (Objectives, Key Results, Tasks), which we plan every quarter.
- We each have weekly meetings with the team manager where we talk about progress, plans, and development opportunities - this is the time for you!
- Every 6 months, during the performance review, we discuss the two previous quarters. We have the opportunity to evaluate not only our work but also the work of our leader.
